One Poem at a Time

A place for people to read a poem in the context of some interesting, eccentric, and occasionally bizarre online resources.

Nov 02 Second Poem

I'm Nobody! Who are you?
Are you—Nobody—Too?
Then there's a pair of us!
Don't tell! they'd advertise—you know!

How dreary—to be—Somebody!
How public—like a Frog—
To tell one's name—the livelong June—
To an admiring Bog!

Emily Dickinson

Nov 01 First Poem

Roses are Red
Violets are Blue
I don't understand
a thing about you.
